What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
I was inspired to pursue architecture because it combines creativity with technical precision, art with science. From early on I was fascinated by how spaces shape human experience, and I saw architecture as a way to improve lives through design. What continues to motivate me is its constant evolution, linking research, technology, and practice where imagination and innovation meet real world impact.

Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
My mother, who is an architect, was my greatest inspiration in finding my path into architecture and the creative industries. Watching her passion for design and the way she approached each project with both creativity and precision.

How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
I unlock obstacles by breaking them into testable questions and iterating quickly through sketches, models, and prototypes. To overcome bias, I practice constant critical analysis: I make my assumptions explicit, look for disconfirming evidence, and invite diverse peer and stakeholder reviews. I triangulate qualitative insights with quantitative data, use transparent decision rubrics, and, where possible, run blind crits and scenario tests. This disciplined loop of reflect, test, and refine keeps decisions evidence led and designs inclusive.

What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
Effective change requires closer integration between academia and practice, alongside a stronger focus on multidisciplinary research. Academics should engage in professional work, practitioners should contribute to teaching and research, and cross-disciplinary collaboration should drive innovation. This ensures that education, research, and practice continuously inform and strengthen each other.
