What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
I’ve have always been fascinated by every minute things around me and this is what has somewhere led me to pursue architecture as my career. As an architecture student I am really interested in how the buildings are actually made and what materials are being used to build them. I believe that all the buildings and structures around us are alive. It is just that most of us are unconscious of their living presence!

Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
My inspiration came from people who see architecture as more than just design. Architects, designers and photographers like Peter Zumthor, B.V. Doshi,, Thomas Heatherwick and Edmund Sumner inspired me through their ability to make buildings feel emotional, tactile, and connected to their surroundings. I’m also inspired by my tutors, parents, and peers who constantly remind me that creativity grows through curiosity, collaboration, and an openness to the world around us.

How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
I approach obstacles as opportunities to learn and adapt. When faced with creative or technical challenges, I start by breaking the problem into smaller parts and researching alternative methods or perspectives. I also seek feedback from tutors and peers to refine my ideas. To overcome bias, I consciously expose myself to diverse sources of inspiration from different cultures, disciplines, and voices, ensuring my designs are inclusive and reflective of varied experiences.

What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
I believe effective change begins with creating environments where everyone feels represented and supported. This includes promoting open dialogue about diversity, encouraging mentorship for underrepresented groups, and ensuring equal access to resources and opportunities. In academic and professional spaces, collaboration should be valued as much as individual achievement, allowing creativity to thrive through shared perspectives and collective growth.
