What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries? I really loved art and working with people. I wanted to help make spaces better for everyone!

Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?
My parents and grandparents have always inspired me to seek out my path in architecture. They encouraged me to draw, took me to galleries and introduced me to architecture as a subject. my parents especially have always supported me throughout any challenges and set backs I’ve faced. Having a good support network is vital in such a tough industry.

How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?
My parents always told me it’s not what happens it’s how you deal with it. So I’ve always tried to work through obstacles taking them piece by piece. To overcome bias I always challenged where I’ve seen it. To ensure I overcome bias in my work it’s important to value and include different voices in the conversation.

What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?
Better support for those facing barriers in the industry to help people from dropping out. I think showing people at a younger age that there are people like them in the industry.
