What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
My journey into the world of architecture began with interior design, where I developed an understanding of spatial composition and the fundamental principles of architecture. As my studies progress, my perspective on how architecture shapes cities, influence environments, and enrich lives of inhabitant expanded.
Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
Among all my extracurricular activities, participation in six architectural competitions was a valuable experience, allowing me to practice architecture beyond the classroom. As a leader, I formed student teams for these competitions, which boosted my leadership and project management abilities. Sharing these experiences with my classmates enhanced our university projects with creative and critical approaches.
How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
After graduating, my thirst for real-world architectural experience led me to join Tehran’s leading architectural studio, KA Studio, which provided me with an excellent platform to enhance my architectural skills. At first, teamwork helped me gain confidence and learn from others. Later, I realized that limitations are not barriers but opportunities to boost creativity. By approaching challenges with a positive mindset, I turned obstacles into drivers for better project outcomes and personal growth.
What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
I believe creating a platform where people can openly discuss projects, exchange ideas, and listen to diverse perspectives is highly valuable. Providing opportunities to experience projects with different approaches can greatly enrich both professional practice and academic learning in architecture.
