What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
In 1967, I was 12 years old and I attended Expo 67 in Montreal. I thought that any profession that could create such wonderful structures must be worth joining.

Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
Many people helped and inspired me to become an architect.

How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
At our Centre for Architecture we look for ways to go around obstacles. Empathy is the key to overcoming bias in ourselves and in our work.

What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
Both the academic and the working environment need a greater work:life balance. This can be achieved by creating more flexible options for work and study.
