What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
When I was young, I had always been delving into my passion of art and creativity be it through drawings or painting. Over time, I delved into many different subjects ranging from drama to criminology and Law; If anything, this opened my eyes that I found such subjects mundane in comparison to the enjoyment I felt from completing a piece of art work. I wondered how I could apply this into the real world, which led to the decision of studying architectural design technology. The ability to create something tangible and accessible is what pushed me to make the decision.

Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
Not a person in particular but the idea that all the buildings that surround us were made by people we may never know yet they are a part of history; Their art has succeeded in doing its job. To have an impact on the world is the main driving factor that helped my decision to study this field of work.

How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
To overcome obstacles, one should break the issue into smaller questions. An example of this would be: How long would it take to create an apartment complex?
– consider the budget
-consider the regulations and planning permission
-consider the design (complexity)

To overcome bias, it’s recommended to use multiple sources of evidence throughout the work but also to get a third party’s opinion or judgement.

What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
Collaboration. In university, there should be much more tasks involved in collaborating with partners since that is what occurs in the real world of architecture, collaborating with many different people.
