What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
|I’ve always been drawn to spaces—how they shape our mood, how they connect or isolate us. Architecture felt like a natural path because it combines logic, aesthetics, and impact. It’s not just about buildings, it’s about how people live and feel in them. I wanted to create places that offer meaning, safety, and inspiration.
Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
My grandfather inspired me the most—he built his own house with his own hands after the war. His sense of purpose and resilience planted the seed. Later, I found guidance in mentors and artists who weren’t afraid to explore new ideas and question norms. They helped me believe that creative work can have deep social value.
How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
I rely on research, persistence, and dialogue. When I face obstacles or biases, I try to understand the root of the issue—whether it’s internal doubts or external barriers. I challenge myself to keep learning and to stay open to feedback, even when it’s hard. I also seek out inclusive spaces and try to create them for others.
What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
We need more support for diverse voices—especially those who don’t follow the “traditional path.” That means mentorship, transparency in opportunities, and fair access to resources. Also, it’s important to value emotional wellbeing and not just productivity. Encouraging collaboration over competition would make both academic and professional environments healthier and more innovative.![]()
