What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
I was inspired to become a documentary filmmaker because sharing my perspectives through the stories of others that align and resonate with me, and amplifying them with audio and visual elements, has become the best tool for self-expression.

Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
During my college years, I interned at a non-profit organization focused on utilizing Hip Hop for social change. Immersed in this environment, I delved into numerous Hip Hop documentaries, which served as my introduction to the art of documentary storytelling.

How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
Self-awareness, open dialogue, education, research, diverse perspectives, accountability and empathy and empowerment.

What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
Inclusive policies and practices, diverse representation, education and awareness, mentorship and support programs, addressing bias and discrimination, collaborative partnerships, evaluation and accountability.
