What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
I was drawn to the multiple disciplinary nature of  studying architecture as is involved a wide range of my interests, such as history, art, sketching and model making. The appeal of creating something tangible that can can have influence on how people live also was appealing – from designing a house for a single person to a building that would be used by the whole community.

Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
When I was 15 in school I took part in a 2  week work experience within a small local architects firm, his was a big inspiration for me to peruse a career in the field.

How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
More often than not I am the only woman / one of the youngest within the design team management / project leads. I have got used to this and it is slowly  changing, but it has thought me to speak up for myself and be more assertive.

What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
Changing the route to become qualified, the Part 1 /2 /3 model is not realistic and closes doors for many people
