Jervin Tiongson

Architecture, London, United Kingdom

What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
The built environment is something that I have always been interested in – how people experience a space and how it can invoke emotion has always been very important and interesting.

Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
Virgil Abloh is a massive inspiration to me.

How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
Understanding that being wrong is needed to progress.

What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
I think a bigger multi-disciplinary mindset to design is really important to understand the change that creative industries can have in the world. Implementing a more multi-disc mindset at a more grassroots level can prove really important for better design outcomes.
