HomeGrownPlus is on a mission to improve diversity within architecture and the creative industries, because we believe cities and public spaces are more beautiful, sustainable and resilient when they’re shaped by the communities that live in them.
From 16-24th July, we’ve partnered with the prestigious Pratt Institute School of Architecture in Brooklyn, to offer ten young people from non-traditional backgrounds a completely free trip to New York for 9-days. We’ll cover your flights, hotel, meals and local travel in NYC.
You will
• learn about architecture at the Pratt Institute School of Architecture
• visit the New York studios of some of the world’s most renowned architects
• be inspired by iconic buildings across the city
• explore built environment problems and solutions
• build a network of friends, contacts, and life experiences.
