What inspired you to want a life in Architecture and the creative industries?:
I have always wanted to become an architect since I remember. The idea of creating buildings and spaces from sketches and models has always fascinated me, but the more projects I work on, the more I understand just how important architecture is. It shapes our daily routines, the narratives in our society and affects our physical and mental well-being.

Who inspired you in finding your path to Architecture/Film and the creative industries?:
Seeing my cousins’ detailed models of buildings when I was around 7 sparked an interest that has only grown stronger over time.

How you unlock obstacles and overcome bias in your work?:
I’m always open to feedback and am very eager to learn. That said, I can differentiate between constructive criticism and negative feedback.

If in this context bias means issues around inequality, I try to bake inclusive and accessible design standards into my personal brief early on to ensure that every project is inclusive in nature.

What improvements do you feel are required to promote effective change in the academic and working environment?:
Providing more opportunities and support to people in a disadvantaged situation. Making learning and creating more accessible as it can require expensive tools and gadgets.
